Swim platform

I have a hunter cutter 37c I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a way to mount a small swim platform preferably on the last step of the transom boarding ladder, I know I have seen it done but can't find a picture of it

One of the H37c's that I inspected back in 2005, had a teak platform that was hinged at the bottom, near the last step. The contour of the deck was the same as the transom when folded up. Wire lanyards at each outer corner held the weight. I do not recall the boat's name, but the platform stuck in my mind since I could use a dive platform myself.

What do I not like about addon swim platforms? They make a great place for snakes to sun themselves. We added a swim platform on our Morgan OI 41 15 years ago, and within a few months removed it. It was a nuisance when towing the dinghy or lowering the dinghy from davits. In certain seas, the dinghy would come up and bang on the platform if towing the dinghy. When motoring, the stern would go down and the platform would be under water.

I did one last summer that worked quite well on the bottom step of my H31. Totally removable when under way, and was quite easy and cheap to build. I will hook it up and send you some photos.
