I have a friend that needs to put his 47' sloop on the hard by April 1 2011 and head off for a job assignment (poor dude has to go back to work after a 2 year cruise)
he needs to come back periodically to work on the boat between assignments around the country. He is looking for a boat yard that will let him live in the boat and work on it between his assignments. He wants a boat yard that is within driving distance of a major airport in the Puget Sound.
I think his only choice is Port Townsend but I'm doing the Internet search for more info. Maybe Port of Olympia or Port of Tacoma have something.
If anyone knows where he can put the boat on the hard and occasionally live on it, and within the Puget Sound area close to an airport, please save me the search and phone calls.
