centerboard pendant information

The shackle on my O'Day 25 has apparently broken, leaving the rope to wire halyard with eye on the end OK. Probably old shackle with hole drilled in end for cable to pass thru was left on the C/B when previous owner replaced the original pendant that had a ball swaged on the end of the cable.
Does anyone have the dimensions for a shackle that would fit? Size of hole in C/B, width of C/B at hole, distance from T/E of C/B?

I replaced the pennant line on my Oday 23 a couple of years ago. I found that the easiest thing to do (and almost the cheapest) was to buy a shackle/line combo from D&R Marine made specifically for the 23/25. I had difficulty finding a shackle that would fit, so this solution saved me the trouble of wondering if I would ever find something that fit within the centerboard slot. No need to do the wire-to-rope thing anymore. The new materials for lines don't stretch, so you no longer have to deal with wire, meathooks and that nasty splice.

If you don't already know, the owner of D&R used to be the parts manager at Oday, and he has a great knowledge of Odays, and stockpiles parts and molds available almost nowhere else. Here is the link for the Oday 25 pennant/shackle:

I just bought a pendant from Rudy and I noticed that shackle is very narrow. If you just need that part, maybe he will sell it to you.
