2007 Test on vasrious rust inhibitors for electronics

Not sure how useful this is being 4 years old but I ran across it and thought it might be of value given all the recent electrical corrosion discussions of late:

Protection

Has any one had good result from using these tested sprays for other things from getting corried like any engine parts,motor mounts,pumps thru hull value propane tank hookups.

Corrison X

I recently have been using Corrison-X and too soon to tell for sure.

After that article I tried the West Marine Corrosion Block and find that it last longer but is thicker and orange in color compared to Boeshield, which I have never been very impressed with.

Personally I don't find any of them all that good for anything outside the boat but the top performers work okay on interior stuff. I have sprayed buss bars and such with both Boeshield and Corrosion Block and find I like the Corrosion Block better. Neither is a once and done product..
