IMHO, sailors have the biggest harts.. For those of you that may wish to be part of the "Mountain Mama's Hospice Regatta" (scheduled for 9/10/11) you will certainly find the hospitality worth the trip. This will be this first such event in the state's history. It will be held on what, Divers Magazine has called, The little Bahamas of the eastern US.

Yes, it's likely you will met a few politicians, hear some country music, see some wonderful scenery and enjoy country food. But, most importantly, you will be helping Hospice and the good works they perform. I welcome, any questions you might have. Feel free to follow this event at http://www.soapysails.webs.com or just shoot me a EM for the NOR.

If I have over stepped the boundaries of the forum, please accept my apologies.

Good luck, Bobincorliss.

Summersville lake is beautiful (I used to live in Charleston) but that water sure is cold. I wish we could make the trip.

Hi Stan, It's always good to hear from a fellow "Mountaineer". The problem is, ur now accustomed to the warm waters of the south...lol I wish we could find more ways to get you boys to join us. Hauling big boats can be both costly and problematic..still, If you change your mind, perhaps we could arrange a rig for you or use you as rail-meat.. again, thanks.
