A pirate's life isn't easy; it takes a tough person. That's okay with you, though, since you a tough person. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!

How to talk like a REAL pirate.

Friends who know I sail often ask me if I can - talk like a pirate - on the official day. I always tell them of course: "Hello, welcome to (name of favorite marine supply) Sir. How can I help you?"

Anyone who thinks piracy is dead has never shopped for marine supplies!

Happy pirate's day everyone.

Fellow pirates: I cast me one good eye upon the home page of Sailboat Owners today, 20 August @1022 GMT-8. There be a most foul proclamation that says today be ITLAP day, not yesterday. Can it be that the good people who take the piracy out of the price of marine supplies may be poseurs and actually not fellow pirates for the day is always 19 September as verified by the official website: http://www.talklikeapirate.com/piratehome.html
