2 weeks heading north. Going to poak around Killarney and the East end of the North Channel. I'll post some pics if I get service along the way.

BeaverStone Bay, north end of Georgian Bay



Collins Inlet, scene of our 52 knot wind ( downburst or tornado not sure ) at anchor two years ago. Saw lots more trees down further down the Inlet on this trip that looked like they could have been from 2 years ago.




Baie Fine, just north of Killarney Ontario. Foggy morning.

Million dollar dinner view ....





We are anchored in 30 ft. of water.... bonus is, it show 7 ft. on the charts so no-one comes into this Bay, we had it to ourselves for 3 days while a dozen boats are just a little further down in another small Bay... ;)

I think that the marks made by the last ice age show on the rocks from left to right. Impressive.

Lava flow, if I recall my soils science from many years ago....

Typical Georgian Bay rock mine-field. You can't go the other side of this buoy without running into rock just below the surface and this is a good 1-2 miles off shore. A very good reason for a good chartplotter and learn to read you paper charts.





The original location of the Barrel at Pointe au Baril that was erected in the mid 1800's with a latern placed on top to serve as a "lighthouse".
