Hi All. At this time I'm thinking about a change in boats. I now have a Oday 25 and I'm thinking of going to a Hunter 23. Can somebody tell me the difference between a H 23 and a H23.5? Do they both have wet ballast? Does anybody have any interior photos or advise?

The 23.5 is a water ballast boat but the 23 is typically a very capable wing keeled boat if I'm not mistaken. There are some very knowledgeable guys on here who own 23's and will chime in i'm sure.
A close friend has an oday 25 and it fits them well and sails fine. I'd think a 23.5 would be a step down in strength but maybe a step up in ease of portability. Too close to call.

what year is your oday ? just did a quick search on them and seems to have more cabin space and headroom then my 1993 23.5 hunter. The hunter doesnt have an enclose head like yours just a porta beneath the vberth, I love my boat but could always use more room below .
23's have iron keels, earliest models have a swing keel as well.
23.5's are water ballasted.
