anyone know what size wire was used on the oday 20? i found a used model 91 loos gauge but not sure it will work.

It's probably 1/8". My boat came through with 1/8" all the way around and a rigger made up some stays for my boat using 5/32". If it's the Model A gauge, it will fit these ranges of sizes. The Model B is for thicker diameter stays.

If you can find that real good gauge that you can clip on to the stay and you don't have to hold it, that's the one to buy. A friend of mine had one and it worked great because you can fine tune your stays pretty fast and easy with it. The Loos Gauge will do it though.
