I have a 2003 H326. Windows are smoked glass with exposed sealant. Their is no aluminum trim around exterior windows. I was planning on reglazing this fall, but have noticed a corner where one is coming away from sealant. I would like to remove and reglaze but would like some direction before tearing into job. Their are some holes around perimeter of window filled with sealant. Are their screws in these holes. Do I just pry windowsout. Do I go from inside. Any suggestions would be great.

Why don't you just remove the caulking around the perimeter and recaulk. I would assume that it is Dow795.

The fixed ports are normally held in place with the sealant.

I am doing this to my '94 Hunter Vision 36 this weekend.

When I remove the caulk, does the windown come free or is it held on the inside by adhesive. What worries me is that a corner has started to pull away. Will adhesive caulk hold this corner from pulling free. What are the filled holes around window perimeter.

If your windows are similar to those of a H36 which I believe they are, I supervised (i.e., watched) the yard guys remove and replace a window on my neighbor's 36 last year. Cut the exterior sealant and carefully pry out the window so as to be able to remove ALL the old caulk/sealant. The hardest part here is prying out the window without scratching the abutting gelcoat.
Once the window is out and the frame clean, the rest is simple.

Yes, the window is held on the inside by adhesive. You can remove the window, but you must do so carefully, continuing to work a razor blade under the edge of the window to gradually un-glue it. If you attempt to pull it from one corner you will probably crack it.
The holes are screw holes. When the window was originally glued into place
( with, as Rick says, Dow 795) it was held in place by those screws, which were later removed and the holes filled.
Like Don, I watched the yard guys replace one of mine some years ago, then did one of my own 3 years ago. Be careful to remove ALL old sealant/adhesive AND be careful to tape and mask around the port both inside and outside when you rebed/reattach the port... Dow 795 can be really messy.

Reseal Window

Great info. When I am removing window from adhesive am I on the inside or outside. I assume the use of a thin blade is needed to slide around the perimeter to seperate. Is the black sealant around the exterior also Dow 795 or is it some sort of silicone glazing.

You will be on the outside pulling out as I said earlier -"The hardest part here is prying out the window without scratching the abutting gelcoat."

Use a wide blade putty knife, e.g. plaster trowel, on a towel or rag against the gelcoat while you cut and pry the window out with a smaller one leveraged against the large one. Everything you see holding it in is 795.
Thoroughly remove all traces of the old sealant and carefully mask off the area before you replace.
