But what is RPMS and Knots per hour?

The term KTS an abbreviation for Knots means nautical miles per hour. To add the phrase per hour after KTS is redundant (Example) If you use the term Ive been sailing at 6 KTS what your saying is you have been sailing at 6 knots per hour or 6 nautical miles per hour

I can’t stand the suspense, Ross !! How long ya going to wait before letting on that the rope was knotted about every fifty feet .. and the sand glass was about a thirty second one.. so when ya put the drag piece in the water (LOG) you counted the number of knots in the line that went out.. the speed was 6 knots if 6 knots went overboard.. not 6 knots per hour .. which may be repetitively redundant..

BTW what is "Prolly"??? I've seen you use this made up word a few times over the years. It's PROBABLY!! Sorry I have a tougher time with PROLLY than I do RPMs or RPM's at least with RPMs I know what the heck a poster is talking about. Took me a while to figure out PROLLY was a horrible fracturing of the language for probably..

I will PROBABLY continue to spell the as teh and below as bellow just because I tend to type that not mean it...
