Does anyone know what size Johnson Marine Shroud Adjuster will fit best on a H170? It appears that they come in either 2.5" or 3.25" sizes. And single or double row. I think I want a double row unit.

Thanks for the info! Do you have them on your boat? And if so, does it take a lot of hand pressure to close them?
I have been using them for several years now and find them wonderful. Of course one side is easier to close than the other, but if you can't close them by hand, then your shrouds are too tight!
I received my set of 4 today. I'm going to install them tomorrow while the boat is in my back yard. I'm a little leery of the "locking" pin only being held in by the "spring" ball. Have you ever had the ball fail and the pin slide out?
I'm thinking of carrying a spare just in case.
Also, should they be tight before attaching the jib roller? I'm thinking there might be a problem bending the mast back after the jib is attached.

In three years I have never had one fail. and I put my boat through the paces, including sailing it on its side and laying it over in the water. I have never turtled as my mast won't sink, but I think you are good to go. they are made to work!
