Hey Joe, hope all is well down your way with all the rain. Sounds like you guys got hammered. I was e-mailing back and forth with a manager at Defender yesterday, and they thought that they may have to spend the night, as the roads were all flooded around them. The water went down late in the day though.

Ahoy there, Rick!
Glub, Glub. I'm doing OK so far. :D Thank you for thinking of me! I've got a shallow swimming pool down my cellar but outside of that, we're doing OK. It's mainly just surface run off water on my side of the street because I'm up high in a pine grove. Unfortunately, my neighbor's houses across the street are are all surrounded by the waters of Sabbatia (Su-bay-shu) Lake and a lot of Taunton Ma is underwater. The Taunton River flows through parts of the city and all the rivers flow into it. When the tide is high in the Taunton River, that water has no place to go. Here's some pics of my neighbors homes and the first one is my house. One of my neighbors is seen getting to his back steps from his canoe.

Good to hear your OK Joe. It looks like your area of Mass and RI are waiting for the dove with the olive branch. Up here in the Berkshires, we only got about 2 inches. We got ours the last week of July last year when we got 8-9 inches in a couple of days. Hope your neighbors get pumped out and dried out.

I hope for the best for my neighbors. The city has been supplying them with sand bags for their properties. I'm waiting for some nice mild sunny weather so I can finish cleaning the bottom of my boat. My bottom paint should be arriving in the mail after Easter.
