I'm pretty sure I always hear the music from "Pirates of the Carribean" -- the part where you first see Captain Jack as he is riding in on the little boat, standing on the yardarm right before he has to bail the boat out to keep it from sinking. Sort of fitting, now that I think about it...

After I turn off the engine I don't hear a damn thing...the best sound on earth to me!

2 Songs...

The kids always leave the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song queued up on the stereo to play when we cast off.
The other one we really like to listen to is "Sailing For Adventure" which was actually a muppets song, definitely worth checking out...

i would have to agree with you on that one ......there is nothing so cool as looking up in the dark sky at night and seeing the southern cross....and the milkyway looks so much better from the land down under .......

If your sails are bent to parrels around a wooden mast, you definitely get trumpets. If the rest of the boat is wood, you get the whole symphony.

No, I don't hear trumpets, although I am a trumpet player. Mostly what I hear is blessed quiet! However, As I just came in from blowing two foot of snow out of my driveway before the next snow comes tomorrow, I needed those two videos from youtube!!! Thanks for sharing Bill!!
