Could anyone help to find Owners Manual for a Beneteau 281 please I have just brought one and dont know how to empty Toilet waste

Assuming you have a waste pump-out station available, there is a deck fill cap on the starboard rear deck for waste pumpout. The deck-fill caps are color coded but I don't remember which color cap is for the waste pump-out. Put the toilet in the dry position, insert the nozzel from the pumpout station into the deck-fill hole and pump umtil nothing is left in the tank. It's a good idea to flush the tank with fresh water a couple of times and pump dry.

Hey Bill, Welcome to the 281 family.. I can look in the manual for you, but its pretty vague and generic..
Just put the pump out hose on the pump out "deck fill", rear right corner of the boat.. Usually dont have to do anything but pump it until you cant see anything else coming out..
BTW, I have a beneteau 281 google group also, if you want to meet other 281 owners..Would be great to have you there also.. Its all a learning experience..

I've actually left the 281 family but I had mine for 6 years and know the boats pretty well so I still like to help when I can.
I traded my 281 for a new Catalina 320. I loved the 281 but I now have more room and updated equipment.
