Finallfy got out for a sail two weeks ago. Coming back in through a crowd of racers the furler line jammed in the spool. I was solo sailing and could not straighten it out during a couple of brief forays to the bow. Motor sailed to my mooring picking it up on the 3rd attempt. Cut the damned line to avoid trashing the sail and ordered new.
Hopped on a plane to FL to take care of my Mother a week ago and been here ever since. My Sister took over today and I am flying back tomorrow. Hopefully my new furler line will be in a box at home awaiting me to strip out a little core and bring it out to the boat. If I can't find the time to sail next week things are really going to get ugly! :cussing:
The roof got finished in my absence, so barring some painting the home project of the decade is finally done!
