I am wondering how much space I need to keep an Oday 222 on a trailor.
Can someone measure the total length from the stern to the trailor tongue?

I realize that the trailors may vary, so I just need an approximate length.

Also, how long is the mast?

Thanks

Lee,
The mast on my 86 O'Day 222 is 27 feet long. The trailer lengths for these boats vary depending on if it's on a roller trailer which is shorter, or a bunk trailer which needs to be a lot longer to be able to float the boat off. I bought my boat new at a boat show and it came with a single axle Load-Rite roller trailer. The stern of the boat extended out way beyond the back of the trailer. The bunk trailer that I'm using now for my boat is a Long Mfg. tandem Aluminum trailer that is made for a 23' boat and is good for 4600 Lbs. It's a heck of a lot longer than the Load-Rite trailer.

My mast is also just under 27 feet (26 ft. 9 inches to be exact) and the length of the boat from the trailer tongue to the end of the stern is right at 24 feet. The trailer is a little shorter than Joe's but then the stern sticks out quite a ways.

My Oday Mariner 19 (on trailor) takes 23 feet total driveway space. A trailor a few feet longer means I might have to park one of my vehicles on the street. It would be nice to get a larger project boat back there, as I have other options to store my Mariner (which doesn't need a lot of work).

Thanks for your comments.
