Dear "Blueskies" et al, :cry::cry::cry:
Thank you for your response. I need now more than ever to hear from anyone who has pictures of the bottom of the 1989 Hunter 30.

Monday of next week, my trailer manufacturer must begin the fabrication of a trailer that I will be using to bring the Hunter 30 from Texas to Lake Hefner in Oklahoma City.

He will only be able to do the best he can to approximate the proper location for the supports without ever having seen the shape of the boat.

Please help me with this. I do so want to avoid the complication that I can imagine could happen when I arrive to take possession of the boat and it won't fit the trailer.:cry:

Thanks in advance to all who are able to contribute, thank you.

Hi Steve,
Hope this helps. (from ayesail.net )

Also remember: The pads/supports don't hold the weight! Each of the six supports should only be carrying ~ 400 hundred pounds. The keel should be carrying the rest. Place the supports near the vertical lines in the side-view cutaway: these are the bulkheads, not unsupported fiberglass.

Thanks, every little bit helps. The fact that you are trying to help me is Greatly Apprecitated!!!

My 1989 Hunter is a Wing Keel boat. It's the Bottom shape that the builder wants to see.

If I could get some good pictures taken from the very front of the boat out of the water and of the stern bottom shape that would likely help him to decide how to build the trailer.

THANKS FOR CONTRIBUTING AND TRYING TO HELP ! ! !

Steve, I spoke to you this AM about sending you pictures of a 30 on the cradle, I won't be able to e-mail those until Monday AM as my Blackberry does not have service at the marina.

Help at last, help at last, thank the Lord Almighty, Help at last.:dance:
Thank you so much Bob!
My eamil address is steveebryant@att.net

When I finish here, I will try the address I wrote down as yours while driving through rush hour traffic.

My trailer builder said that the demension measured horizontally from the furthermost projection of the bow back to the center of mass of the keel would be most useful to him.

While he did not specifically ask for it, I will nevertheless ask that you please take a similar measurement toward the stern of the boat from the center of mass at the keel while you have your tape handy.

Photographic views of the boat from the side moving front to back and a shot "head-on" and one taken "of the stern," I am sure, would all be so very useful to him too.

Thanks Bob, you have removed a great worry for me. I can now feel comfortable in saying that I have done all I possibly could, with your help, to assist the builder prepare a proper fit between boat and trailer.

Brian, thanks for the photo. I will take it to the builder.
The measurement he told me he really needs in order to proceed, comfortably, with the construction is that distance from the bow to the center of the keel.

Thank you again for your help!

Steve
