ODay 222

I own an ODay 26 and just purchased an ODay 222. The tiller is different to my 26, and needs replacing, but, the old one sems to sit too high in the cockpit, it may not be original , could anyone advise, on type or mods, or supply a photo of an original?...or a supplier?

Here's some pics of my 86 OD 222 tip up rudder and OD 25 tiller. The Bungee cord applies tension to the pendant line hold down when the blade is in the up position. This supposedly prevents the pendant line from getting caught in between the rudder blade and inside rudder head where it pivots. I had to lower the pintles on the rudder head to provide the space needed for the tiller plates to bolt on and also to keep the bottom of the tiller from hitting the top of the transom. Stops are also needed under the plates to hold the tiller up. It may look a little- Michelle Moush'e, (French for Mickey Mouse) but it works.
