One of the youngsters takes a fancy to us and comes around for inspection.
He decides to join us. Tries several times to get on board via the transom as we wisp along at 2 knots (calm). He never quite made it on board, transom too slippery and just high enough. He would have had to slide over out feet to get on board. He was very much like a puppy in a pet shop, eager and excited.
What would he have expected us to do had he made it on? Pet him?
