We are planning a cruise for NH to NC on our Catalina 27. Looking for experienced crew members to join the two of us for this trip. Though we would like to take a leisurely tour we are open to making a direct trip with a crew of four. Though we would prefer you join us for the whole trip, will consider someone joining us for only parts of the trip. :)

myself and a friend brought my boat from Ct. to Md. . Two people is fine for the trip, especially if your taking your time. I bought the boat and needed to get it home to Perryville, Md.
No problem for a crew of 2.

I wish i could offer my help, even though I don't have a great amount of experience, That trip would take a little more vacation time than I want use right now.

Good luck and keep us posted as to how things go.

Umm... a Catalina 27 is going to be a pretty tight fit for two on an extended voyage like that, much less for three or four. I would hesitate to recommend living in such tight quarters and close proximity unless it was someone you knew fairly well.

Your just spoiled sailingdog, :D
I know people that sail and stay for the weekends and a few weeks a year on Catalina 22's.
Although I will agree that 4 people that don't know each other would be a bit uncomfortable, mostly because of the unknown ..

Not really, since a Catalina 27 probably has far more room than my Telstar 28 inside the cabin...

I bet those people know each other very, very well...

When I get back up to the Area of Wiscasset, I'd like to try a ride on your Telstar. But it will probable be winter time.

I am up on LI with out my boat and if you ever get over to greenport give us a us a call I would love a ride on a telstar,I am an old Hobie 18 sailor.
Anyway I sailed 10 days from Montauk to Florida all open ocean and two nights inside with 4 crew and most times two in cockpit and two down below so plenty of room on my H-36,one crew got off in NC.
We got to know each other very well and had alot of fun,When are you making the trip.
