Hi

Can anyone help, I have just purchased a Hunter 310 and don't seem to be able to clear to the waste water from the shower, it eventually clears after a time but still can't find a pump switch or the pump anywhere. If any owners could give me a clue I would be very gratefull

Thanks
Phil

two possibilities

I don't own a 310 but there are only two options I've ever seen Hunter use.
There is a "Shower Sump" switch on the electrical panel
or
There is a gravity drain to the bilges.

The shower sump me only enable an secondary switch in the shower proper. You would have to have both on to get the pump to run

The gravity drain is pretty easy to ID. There is no pump in the plumbing.

Phil:

Our '94 Hunter Vision 36 does NOT have a switch to drain the sump either. It has a bilge pump with a built in float. You may try cleaning yours and see if that helps free the float.

Filter

My H33 has a pump in the bilge which demonstrates the same symptoms with every fifth or so use as the filter on top of the pump very easily blocks up particularly with hair.

Thanks for the replies this explains a lot, in the Owners Pack there's a page on the sump pump which I could'nt find, having taken up all the floor boards etc. I'll try the bilge pump route and clear pipes and filters. Once a gain Thanks

Our H33 has a sump pump breaker on the main panel. To actually activate the sump there is a momentary contact switch mounted to the side of the vanity.

The shower in our H310 drains to the bilge, and is pumped out by the bilge pump when the float switch is actuated.
