Lettering the boats name?

Hi folks, several months ago there was a post in which there was a photo of on of our members lettering. It had a real nice shadow effect!
Whos was it and can someone prvide the link to the photo?
We are getting ready to have ours lettered, actually we are getting vinal with a 5 year UV guarantee done.

Is that a 2 x 4 for a rudder?

in the photo it looks like a 2 x 4 mounted in the gudgeons? Is that just to hold up the winter cover or part of your rudder system? Looks like an innovative idea, worth sharing?

Bob, what did they charge?
A ran into a guy yesterday that will do mine with shaddowing for $35.00. Of course being an Oday 22 the lettering is not big to begin with.

Jack it depends on the size. The design tool shows the price as you go.

I'm not near my computer that has the receipt. But it was around $100 for name (11"x15"), port (4"x 30"), and two state registration numbers.

Boat US has a great name program you can play with all kinds of different lettering just like a sign maker,you do what ever size shape shadowing color and show's how it will look and price,try it no need to buy anything just play with it until you see the way you want it and than it even tell you how much.

I would add a vote for Speedysigns. We ordered a set from them, received them quickly and they went on easily and look great. Their web page to let you try out color and font really helps. Chuck
