As an old construction worker, I am not exactly thin skinned. But I'd like to make a point about some comments made on another thread:
Several people commented about the appearance of a person's wife. I am sure it was made with good intent and not meant to insult anybody, but consider this: None of us knows this individual. We have no idea how he might take those comments. And suppose his wife is reading them - how would she take it? Maybe she would like it, but maybe not. And there are also a few women who use this forum (I wish there were more). How about them? Many of us put photos of ourselves on our profiles. I think some women might not want to do this after reading some of these comments - after all, they come here to get and give advice about boating, not to look for a date.
Like I say, I am sure no insult was intended, but I think we should think before we speak - or write
