Has anyone installed on generator and air conditioning in a Beneteau 411

Im looking for pictures or instructions about what the best generator ( Paguro, mastervolt, panda , kooler etc ) and what the best local for it

I installed a fresh water Fischer Panda 4Kw in my 3 cabin 411. Do not buy an older saltwater cooled 4Kw. The FP was the only one that would fit. I cut an opening in the stb aft cabin bulkhead, built a bed from glued 2x8s epoxied to the hull. I installed cherry molding around the cut out and the "door" for a tight fit and put insullation on the back of the door. Very quiet and all in all worked very well.

I leave in Brazil and here, i heard that Paguro 4000 is better than Panda

Could you tell me if in your opinion its true ?

Unfortunately , Panda doesn't have good assistance here , and i m looking forward other possibilities to buy , like mastervolt , kohler , Mase , Paguro etc.

I am thinking if only 16.000 Btus is sufficient , or if I need two machine of the air conditioner , like , 12.000 and 6.000

Very impressive work - and a job well done. I'm contemplating doing the same thing, but I'm wondering how you got this thing into the hatch area? If you went down and through the aft cabin, how on earth did you get it through the aft cabin door!? I have the 411 2 cabin version, and thinking of doing the same. Again - impressive work - and thanks for the insight.

I have both on my Oceanis 40 2 cabines. 2009

The AC was mounted by Beneteau ( 2 seperate ac`s ) and a Paguro 3000

I did not mounted it in the position a few posts before (picture). I have it under the right steering seat

I sugest you tp take a number higher as the 3000 ( it`s overload when you use both AC`s , the microwave,and the Espresso machine together ) and believe me, the noise is not that much. If your AC is on, you can no more her it.
