Does anyone know for the proper cutlass bearing size for a 1989 Hunter 30 (1 inch shaft)? Thank you.

H30 cutless bearing.

Thought you would see something from the H30 gang by now. They must be sailing. Pretty sure that your boat has one of the struts at the bottom of this page: http://www.dahmermarine.com/Struts.htm . Notice that all of the bearings are the same with IDs = 1 inch and ODs of 1.25 inches. Also they are all four inches in length. So it becomes a matter of whether you have an angle cut on your strut. Most struts that I see have square ends.

Surely an H30 owner will speak up.

Thanks, Ed. That was quite helpful. Fortunately I took pictures during the last haul out and I have square ends on my strut. I am pretty sure it's 1 x 1.25 x 4, but am still hoping another H30 owner can confirm. Thanks again.
