Another great weekend in Maine

While other owners were heading into the boat yards and marinas, we were heading out. Great sailing both Saturday and Sunday and only 10 boats in the anchorage that usually has about 60. The weather was warm(60s) during the day and cool at night(low 40s). We had a great bonfire on an island and just generally enjoyed the peace and quiet. Sorry, no photos. I left the camera at home but we did see some great sunsets.

Glad yall had a good one, Tim! Beautiful weather this weekend in the South too!.. Lake Pontchartrain was great both days with 8-10 building to 15-20 by late afternoon. Enough chop to splash water everywhere and enough wind to make the boat stretch her legs ! Cool here with highs in the low 80’s and 60 at night! Best sailing here in Louisiana and the Gulf Coast is in the spring and fall!

Tim, glad to hear ya'll had a great weekend sail. As Kloudie said, our sailing season here on the Northern part of the Gulf of Mexico is about to get real good! frank

Who twisted your arm Maine Sail? I believe we are planning on "racing" Wed. night. Chris says we are a go unless we hear from him. Last week was nice. We "raced" out the ship channel and sailed back in in the dark. Hotdogs and beer at the slip.

And don't worry, you will probably be invited out on Cordelia this fall. We should get all the guys out on some Saturday and have a BBQ at Brewers after.

We flew in to Portland last weekend (4th) and spent most of the week over around Bethel & North Conway leaf-peeping. You guys have had a couple of nice weekends for end-of-season sails and the leaves were coloring up nicely too.

We had to pull Verboten almost a month ago - I'm jealous.
