Does anyone know of any yards in the Charleston area that store sailboats on the hard and what the cost is. One place quoted me $23/foot per month. That seems crazy expensive. That's $1035/month for a 45' boat.

Boat land ain’t cheap in the south.

Here in the Pacific NWvthe Everett marina wants $17 per foot. My 35 ft boat would be $670 a month. That is a bit more than the rate I pay to be moored. At least I have water and Electricity in the slip.

Welcome to the world or boat ownership. Keep looking, because marina fees can vary significantly based on location. You'll also find that the larger the boat, the higher rate per foot.
