Isn't one enough?1969, hull #32! The lowest I've ever seen. I'd love to just look it over!
This boat haunts my dreams. 57 years old. The Beatles released Abbey Road that year.1st- That's not a survivor. She's thriving!
2nd- Enough is N+1.
CONGRATULATIONS!! I hope you and she take good care of each other. And I hope you post regularly here. I'd enjoy seeing more of her!Well, I was the one to draw this lucky straw. Super pumped. View attachment 238390
Shes got great bones. Going through her as I reply, fixing old spreader brackets, shrouds and doing a through go through before she gets to float (hopefully by this weekend)!CONGRATULATIONS!! I hope you and she take good care of each other. And I hope you post regularly here. I'd enjoy seeing more of her!
Well? How'd it go? Got any pictures?(hopefully by this weekend)!

DOC HOLIDAY!"Doc Holiday" #32, a special boat! Light and FAST. She has a new adjustable backstay, New Jib sheet cleats for crew and cap'tn, New mainsheet blocks, and Inside tracks!
She is very solid. She has had 0 upgrades her whole life, which is great because there were not a bunch of holes getting moisture for 60 years, and I got to lay it all out how I wanted! (I did all my holes the right way to, over sized hole, filled with epoxy, and re-drilled!
The Catalina 22 community is also one of the best boat communities I have seen! We were able to start a local fleet here in Colorado as well!
