I’m new to the Gulfport, Mississippi area. I’m in need of a spot to berth my 1985 Capital Yachts Gulf 29. She draws under 6’. I would like to stay out of the large marinas because of the cost and also, I wouldn’t be using any of the amenities that a large marinas offer. Any help is appreciated !

Not sure if it is open again yet, we kept our boat in Long beach for several years and enjoyed it.

Bay St Louis, Pass Christian, Long Beach, Gulfport, & Biloxi all have similar facilities & reasonable slip fees. Gulfport is the most desirable IMHO. The biggest problem with all of them is that you have to vacate your slip in the event of a hurricane threat .There is a marina around Diamond Head & also on the “back bay” area of Biloxi; however, I believe that they are primarily for commercial fishing boats.

I will use the Boat Repair Yard to haul out my boat and secure it. $500 my cost.
Lead time is about 12 hours.
Jim...

PS: best harbor = Pass Christian Cost = $10/foot, power included
