Sailed up to our harbor here in Chicago yesterday. Hoping for a season.
I have a B331 and it was strange not sure how it happened, but the grey plastic resin cleat bolted to the mast on starboard side broke. One of the horns. It is bolted to the mast with two hex bolts. Curious where I can get a replacement and I am assuming there are threaded inserts or the mast is thick enough to be tapped. Has anyone had this issue? will call dealer Monday.

Thanks!!!
Craig

Picture would be great. I would try the Beneteau spare parts site first. If that is not successfu, try the mast manufacturer (have the model & serial number available). Not sure about the 331; however, my mast is from US Spars. They have been very easy to deal with over the years.

While plastic cleats are lightweight and tend to be inexpensive, they are slippery suckers. The typical double braid yacht line tends to slip on the plastic as it does not create enough friction. :banghead:

Had the same problem, picked up a pair at a local Bénéteau dealer: they were a regular stock item. The sun & salt makes them brittle after ten to fifteen years. I put the same bolt in: all OK.

Thanks to all!! I did find exact replacement at US Spars. Easy webpage to look up. Resin was $17 but Aluminum Anodized was $30 so went with aluminum. Shipping was UPS to Chicago about $27.
