Greetings 310-315 IA owners, I have been your association commodore for the past 12 years as My wife and I owned the 310 hull #155 named Anam Cara, during my tenure we accomplished alot including rondezvous. We loved our boat and were blessed with a great fleet staff, Jesse, and Curt along with Bob James as association editor.
All good things must come to an end, My wife and I have sold our boat to friends on our pier and we will encourage them to join the association!
Eileen and I have been sailing for 30+ years and have enjoyed it but now we have gone to the dark side to continue our water way of life!
I would encourage members to step up and support our organization by joining the staff and contributing!

Speaking of wishes, I wish that the organization of our association was more transparent. Are there elections? Do you have a successor in place? How is one chosen? What happens now?

Our Constitution says that elections are held at the annual meeting, but as far as I am aware, there has not been an official meeting in many years.

We all know that the website has not been updated in more than 5 years, so you may be perpetually listed as Commodore! Officer List

Didn't Alan tell his buyer that along with the boat comes the position of Commodore? And, of course, Alan is elevated to the position of Commodore Emeritus! There is no resignation.
