Cleaned up the transom. The stainless steel shoulder bolts had Teflon tape and Teflon putty on them. How should this be done?
The Loktite equivalent is called marine sealant or something similar. It comes in a caulk tube. I highly recommend Home Depot's cast caulk gun over the cheap sheet metal ones
