I'm very sorry to not be able to attend this year. I'm flying out of the country, today in fact, and will be gone for most of October. I would have so liked to meet you face to face! Darn! Do it again next year! Please!

"Real" boat shows are getting quite rare way out here in the NW. I would love to attend this show if it were not such a "mighty long airplane ride" away. :)
ps: I have Peggie's book and it's a great reference.

@lehighsail, another buddy and I were at the show yesterday (Friday).

@Peggie Hall HeadMistress

I enjoyed meeting and talking to @Peggie Hall HeadMistress for quite a while. We chatted about her history with the forum, Phil Herring and how she earned the title of Head Mistress. It was great meeting the person who has helped myself and so many others over the years.

Walking over the bridge to the show we ran into the young lady from Raritan and manning the booth with Peggy, who also was enjoyable to talk to. She confirmed my memory that Raritan began in a building near the McDonald's on High Street in Millville, my home town. My uncle was a machinist for Raritan back then.
