I'm thinking about replacing a leaky portlight and I'm curious if the Amarine portlight is a direct replacement for the Lewmar size 1 The measurements seem very close, but I don't know if the corners are the same as R55 to 2 1/16inch is somewhat confusing to me and apparently google as I can't find a conversion for the rounded corner measurement.

A possible option you may not know about is there are a couple of compaines that can rebuilt yours at modest costs so maybe an option.

Go with the name brand. The potential damage isnt worth the cost savings. I nearly lost an outboard due to a bad Amarine mount

The R55 is probably the radius in mm. Using an online converter that would be 2 11/64"
