Hello, I have 1999 Hunter 310. GREAT BOAT. I need to replace the piston on the Selden Rodkicker. It only says the name and not nomenclature on the outside. Has anyone done this and do you have the part number for a not Arotron piston? I would appreciate an assist. Since I am asking, has anyone added a Windless? I am looking at the Lewmar v700. Thoughts, suggestions. GO Navy!

I replaced the piston on a used Seldon rod kicker. You can get the specs from Seldon or take yours apart and get the specs off the old piston and then match it to one from these guys…

You need the stroke length, newtons of force, and the end size for each end. Not real hard to take the Seldon unit apart and replace.

They make them in Stainless or carbon steel.

You might find it easier to replace the kicker ( solid boom vang) with a new one....

As far as the windlass goes... I had a Maxwell installed.. The counter that was part of the package has NEVER worked and there is no support...So stay with Lewmar...
