Does anyone knows the transom angle of the oday28?
Want a built a bracket or buy some wedges, for a motor mount.
I’m buying a bobs machine shoot motor mount, boat doesn’t have the inboard motor since 2004, I’m replacing the 15hp Mercury with a 9.9 high thrust Yamaha and mounting it on a motor bracket . Pictures of what’s in place and bracket to replace it.

This guys video (at the start) shares an easy way he identifies how to locate the best place to position the motor.
The wedge (shim) needed to attach the unit ( vertically on your transom) is likely similar to the one in your motor picture.

You may want to remove the wedge and place it a bit higher based on the new 9.9hp Outboard I think you are planning.

I am sure you can remotely get someone’s measurements, build the parts and attach them. I get better results when I am at my own boat and measuring on the boat. I then do a mock up out of cheap materials. Once I’m satisfied with the fit and look I make a build out of finished materials. I’ve tried it other ways often with unhappy outcomes. Then you have to start again or settle.

The biggest issue I ran into on my 25 was getting the motor low enough in the water and being able to tilt it. The motor's tiller hits the transom. I have an extra long shaft outboard

That jack has 17” vertical travel, expensive but worth it
