Hi H290 waste tank indicater does not work, power to it so tried the float level but cant get it out of the tank due to no room to lift strait up as cockpit locker right above the tank. Had same issue on potable water tank and lifting out the float mechanism was strait forward. This seems the same except no room to lift out. Anyone tried fixing this or any suggestions?

Is the Waste tank full?

Many things can cause the Sending Unit not to work.

was full, now pumped out...pwr at guage, think float is saturated and not working...same issue with fresh water tank and easy fix there. Right above item 12 is the cockpit locker so unit cannot be removed strait out.

If you can't access your sensor, you could perhaps by-pass it all together by installing an external tank monitor--i.e., if the tank is plastic, not metal. here’s an example:

Human waste is full of animal fats that gradually clog internal sensors, preventing them from "seeing" the level in the tank. Just replacing the sensor(s) with those that attach to the outside of your tank won't work because the sensor circuitry won't match the panel circuitry. The best solution is a new tank level monitor. SCAD Scad Tank Monitors are top rated, very reasonably priced--even available on Amazon, easily installed and very low amperage draw.
