Hunter 380 non-skid paint

I'm considering repainting the grey painted non-skid areas on the deck and cabin top on my 2000 Hunter 380 - can anyone tell me what type of paint was originally used by Hunter for this?

My guess, and from looking at my 380's deck, is it was grey gelcoat....

Sorry to sat but all non-skid areas on Hunters were grey gel coat.

It is gel coat. Many people do paint it. Search here for Deck Paint.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I assumed it was a painted finish since after pressure washing the deck last year, it looked like some white gelcoat was showing through on the non-skid. Maybe P.O. sat on it too much....I find it leaves dimples and prefer not to.

I painted the molded deck skid on my 37.5 with Kiwi Grip and am completely satisfied with ease of application, durability, and effectiveness of non skidding.

Any special prep working with interdeck? Did it roll on the old diamond patterned glass without clumping etc?

Just clean the surface. Mask all areas adjacent. Roll on. Just like painting. But, don't touch until dry!
