Hi - moving to an air floor - need to have something lighter Most don;t have any provisions for dingy lift points like my old Aluminum bottom monster. Any recommendations ? Has anyone just put ona d-ring patch in the bow and drilled two holes in the plywood transom ?

Eyes on the transom are step one. Have read many added d-ring lift points inside tubes. I used towing rings this season with no problem although manufacturer warned against because of angle. They suggest strap all the way under hull in bow area. One idea I read about and may try next season is short strap with d-ring ends run under inflatable keel, coming up through air floor at hole for keel inflation. Would be simple if it works.

That's exactly what I did. The bow is very light and have not had a problem. I keep the 6hp on no problem.

The main thing with any removable floor inflaable is to suport the dinghy from underneath with tricing lines, every time. It is good practice anyway.
