Just got the sails on today and took a short sail. Wow, what a feeling! It's been two years - divorce, move, family stuff, depression, etc. But this is the life! Retired now, and living the life. I think I'll cruise for a week or two starting next week.

Go for it! I got 59.5NM under the keel this weekend. Gonna sleep well tonight. :beer:

So where will you cruise? It's lovely feeling the wind in your sails and hearing the water flow over the hull...

Thanks. I'm going to keep it local. An overnight shakedown to Cuttyhunk and back. Then maybe up Vineyard Sound to Tarpaulin Cove, on the Edgartown. Or maybe West to Block Is. or Newport. We'll see. Solo sailing is double the work I'm accustomed to!
