Hi to all, while assembly back the sea water pump i broke one of the 4 bolts, now i have to take down the pump.
In order to do that ithink i need to remove the front starboard engine mount. My question is, doing that do i lose the engine alignment ? Do i need to raise the engine? Do i need to lose both engine mounts? Thanks very much for your expertise. I find the construction of the stair on the H41 very obstructive with the i mpeller change

If you remove and replace the mount(s), yes you would need to re-align the engine to the prop shaft.

If anyone of what year boat _ _ _ _ _ _ ? and what type engine _ _ _ _ _ ? should show up here, I find it unlikely the engine mounts need to be removed in order to repair the sea water pump. Any first hand experience with this ?

You may find it easier to remove the stairs to do the work compared to the other alternatives you have in mind which will not be walk in the park.

Ok i manage to take down the sea water pump, if you are with the same problem you will need to remove one of the engine mount from the engine and from the support of the boat, then you will have access to unbolt the pump, this is for an H41 2004. Hi to all.
