Installing EV-100

I am replacing my st 2002 autohelm system with new EV 100 system on my 07 H-36 and at my helm running wires.
I am not upgrading the whole system and have C-80 works great and have wind machine and dept and speed all talk
to my chartplotter and only replacing autopilot with EV 100 and so what did do with NMEA and seatalk.
I know I can by ng converters but my not have the autopilot talk to my C-80.
Any help you can give would greatly helpful.

What instrument do you have for autopilot control? Is it ST 6000?
It would also help to know exactly what your other raymarine gear is.

I have 6002 auto and st 60 wind and speed and dept and radar all talk to each other.

Hi Nick,
I believe you need to have a P70/P70R or a MFD running Lighthouse in order to calibrate the EV-100. If you bought a kit I think it usually comes with the P70.

This is true.

You need the MFD to do any system upgrades, a friendly retail shop, a boating friend with an MFD or sending the unit to RayMarine are the other options.

Not really been talking to Raymarine support for every day for a week and finally got how to setup my old system with EV -100 new system and adding E22158 to run seatalk into ng seatalk

I have the EV-100 autopiolet working fine and even thought my C-80 was acting funny it is working fine.
I finally got E22158 to hook up seatalk to the ng backbone but guest have arrived and now going on
a big boat cruise so when I get back I will finish hooking up seatalk and the E22158.
To fit the new ng backbone cable I had to pull out some other cables in the stainless tube to fit the new bigger cable and was able to put all the cables in the tube but still need to hook cables backup.
