That was when I realized that I could no longer open that jaw. I need to work on that in the spring. :facepalm:
Hayden, I recommend starting to work on it now, like right now. Kroil or PBBlaster, let it soak in a tub of it. Good luck it is a true PITA to free up. It's not only the jaw piece, it's the slide, parts, too, whatever goes through the aluminum, it's been awhile but IIRC there may be two parts that do that. Even if only one, still PITA. Good luck.

I would love to work on it now, but am unable to work on it until spring. I will probably need to pull the stop off the base of the track so that I can take it home to work no it. Worst case, it will stay there until I finally get around to replacing the car from a ring to some other type of mount. It does not cause any problem other than just not being able to remove the pole.
