Just came across this over the weekend, thought some might enjoy. It's something sailing related to pass part of the winter season... while daydreaming of spring... or is that just me?

Nice collection of interviews of Bertrand, his crew, and DC... all looking back 40yrs to the 1983 America's Cup. Almost 90min... was pretty good.

Part of the "Untold" series on Netflix: "Untold: The Race of the Century"

Thanks!

Inspite of never fully caring about the America's Cup (it is more a technology and bank account competition vs sailing competition), the fact that 1983 is when the NYYC was beaten by Australia II may make this a decent show.

At the very least it will have images of boats and reasonably warm water.

Here's a few more that we've enjoyed:
Maiden Trip - Vimeo - The story of a 13 year old's journey and struggle to circumnavigate
Chasing Bubbles - Vimeo - A crazy story of a former stock broker in his 20's and a bunch of his friends circumnavigating
Abandoned - Netflix - This movie entails the journey of the crew aboard Rose-Noelle who encountered a rogue wave. They were adrift for 119 days after their boat capsized

Not just any boats... 12Meters... gorgeous. My only complaints is they didn't show enough sailing... and often the commentary and sailing clips didn't often match... they'd talk about a tacking dual while showing clips of the boats with spinnakers... but the interviews were good.
