I have a 461 built in 1996 in France. The Water Lift Exhaust Muffler is now defunct and leaking. Please does anyone know how I can get a replacement, or an alternative. One problem is the intake is approx 86, and the out is 75.
Thanks

Many thanks. I've identified the Vetus Waterlock VTSLSL90 as being a possible option but I've met an issue. The original Beneteau has an 85mm input and 75mm output. Any suggestions as to how I can connect an 85 hose to the 90 input, and the 90 output to a 75 hose?
Thanks

Here's another resource:

And whenever you find yourself asking questions about a product, the ONLY place to ask are the people WHO MAKE THE PRODUCTS. Call them, a smart phone can be used for more than emails and browsing. Sorry for the rant, but it happens almost daily.

The manufacturer of the Beneteau system apparently was Beneteau. Not a third party. Sadly Beneteau haven't responed to the Shipyard's enquires, hence the Yard's advise was get it repaired, rather than here's an alternative. I've already contacted Volvo Penta, Vetus and Centek, none of them manufacture an 85 input to a 75mm output. Nothing on the web provided an answer. As my problem appears to be Beneteau related I thought I'd see if anyone had been hit by the same problem with a specific Beneteau solution. The answer would appear to be no.
Hence I didn't ask about a product, I asked for a solution.
All assistance is greatly appreciated and I've now narrowed down alternative products, waiting for a Volvo dealer to get back to me, but it appears that I have to re-hose the entire system, and I'm hoping that the new unit will fit the limited space.

Many thanks for all the help. I've narrowed it down to 3 options, Ventus and Centek. All are 90mm, in and out. The winner will be the best fit, rather than my preference. This does mean I'll need to do some adaption from the engine (currently 85mm) up to the unit's 90, and I'll have to replace the hose (currently 75) from the units out, with the 90mm, all the way to the through hull connector.
A bit more than my whip it out and weld, but that's the fun of owning a boat, and telling one's partner after the event what the cost was.

No.

All it means is you need one or two adapter(s).

There was a recent thread about just this.

Centek makes adapters. I'm sure Vetus does, too.

Why not the lp75 vetus 75mm in 75mm out . Your output goes right on and you need a bushing machined to go from 75 to 85mm for input. Have one machined out of delrin and install it with 5200. Make the bushing the full length of input pipe

Good idea, but he doesn't even need to do that. Here's a link to Centek's reducers;
