Hi all,
The original Nova Kool DC only unit finally quit working (15 yrs old). I would like to replace with an AC/DC unit. There is an available AC outlet in the refrigerator cut out but the microwave uses it. I'm afraid the load with both units would strain the 15 amp circuit. I would like to install an additional circuit/outlet using a spare CB on the AC panel(10AWG marine wire) and utilize the original CB/wiring for the DC feed. Any reason why this wouldn't work?
I am considering a Nova Kool 3800 AC/DC version of the original or an Isotherm Cruise 130 Elegance as a replacement. Any recommendations?
Thanks for any input.
