Pumpout Adapter for a Hunter

Did you lost the male screw cap? Look in your manual for the fitting size and/or measure the diameter and purchase a couple of caps to see which one fits.
I just received one of the p/n 800075 from SBO which I think is a match to the deck plate caps on my 2007 H41DS. Sadly, the description on the SBO site is not very precise. As I measure it, the threads are 1.875" by 11-1/2 TPI and the solid portion of the cap above the threads measures 1.967" diameter. I haven't been to my boat since I received this part to confirm that it fits my deck plates but I am pretty certain that it will. Oddly, I've concluded that the correct O-ring for this cap is a metric one - 43mm I.D. by 3 mm cross section.
Get yourself both an Imperial and a metric thread pitch gage to keep on your boat. These are valuable additions to your tookbox. I've found that my 2007 has a mixture of Imperial and metric threads so you'll need to be able to cope with both systems, I think.

Frankly, I just guessed at the size and got lucky. In our marina, you have to do 2 round trips to the office and back to use the pump-out, so this was well worth the purchase.

In 2002 it would be 11 tpi, which became the standard size for for all deck fills sometime after 1980..not sure exactly when. It had been 16 tpi on all boats built up to and including all 1980. I found this out when I had to replace the cap for the deck pumpout fitting on my own 1980 boat in 1996 and had to replace the entire fitting because16 tpi caps were no longer available from ANY source.

The p/n 80075 cap is a perfect fit for our 2007 H41DS. We'll keep it among our spares just in case one of the four finds its way into the drink.
