Revisit H34 sea hood

Edit: removing the traveler seems to be the Bugaboo oh well I thought it was a good idea but that's me I think too much


Not today, but in the near future I plan to remove the sea hood on my boat.

I have searched photos and write ups and I've come to the conclusion, why does the hood have to be permanently attached??

it can be weather stripped and held down with turn fasteners allowing you to get in there once or twice a year to clean all the mold and mildew that obviously collects inside there.

Just saying, we have the technology we can do better

the traveler should not be that difficult. The screws are set into what i believe is an aluminum plate in the deck. i removed the screws to install a harken traveler set up. there may be some sealant under the track that will need to be "eased"
