Victron Super Cycle AGMs - anyone own them and/or can comment?

Considering replacing my current failing batteries with these. Specifically the 125ah model. Found virtually nothing here doing a search; very little anywhere else. Being offered a very nice deal on them, so cost comparative to other AGMs isn't a factor. Curious if others have done some research and developed an opinion, but especially interested in the experience of anyone who actually has them on their boat.

@tfox2069 did you go with the Super Cycle, or did you find any useful reviews elsewhere? Our Deka AGM’s are 8 years old and on today’s sail seemed to show their age. The Super Cycle looks attractive if it lives up to its marketing.

I went with the SuperCycles and have been happy so far this season - three 125ah batteries. Found almost zero on them in terms of reviews, but the deal was so good - including the shipping - that I couldn't pass them up. They're living very happily on shore power most of the time, and hold/take a charge very well. Wish I had something sexy to say about them, but they're batteries, lol. Will be most interested in how they hold up over time at this point. I did take them out for a week on a DelMarVa circumnavigation. The first two days were mostly sailing and they did great - no need to start the engine to charge the batteries. After that we did quite a bit of motoring so no real stresses on the batteries for the remainder of the trip.

Thanks very much. I did more testing of my AGM’s and found that one was totally dead, resting at 12.0V fully charged once it was disconnected from the other. I did more searching and still couldn’t find any long term use experience with the Super Cycles. It also turns out our marina has good prices on the Deka’s that we had before, and they’re not a Victron dealer so it’d be harder for them to get those. So we talked to them and asked them to just get us the same Deka’s to replace what we had. The extra 25AH would be nice, but we got 8 years from the original Deka’s, so I guess that’s adequate for our needs.

Makes total sense for you to stay with the Deka's. Hope the supply chain doesn't foil your plans for a quick replacement!
